Air Hockey is an all-time Pub Games favourite and can now be hired from Altitude Events alongside a wide range of other popular Pub Games – Pool Table, Table Tennis, Foosball, Bar Skittles, Skittles/Bowling, Double Hoop Basketball and Connect 4.
The Air Hockey Table that we hire is a top-quality commercial unit with a 7ft playing surface. The width of the table can also accommodate a team of 2 players at each end. The Air Hockey Table has been deliberately designed to resemble full-size commercial tables that you find at amusement arcades and leisure centres – a critical asset of the table comes in the form of the aluminium top rail; this runs right along the outer edges of the playing surface to give that distinctive “ping” sound when the puck makes contact. The rigidity of the aluminium ensures the puck will rebound at a perfectly consistent angle every time. Underneath the playing surface, there is an arcade standard 240v centrifugal fan that provides the strong “cushion” of air that allows the pucks to float. The reduced resistance leads to a fast and enjoyable game!

Although based on the Surrey/Sussex border, Altitude Events Air Hockey Table and Pub Games hire packages are available for hire throughout the Southeast to East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, London, Essex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Air Hockey and Pub Games hire packages to include £10 million PLI and risk assessments.
The Air Hockey Table will plug into a normal mains plug socket and as with all of our hire equipment, the unit is fully PAT tested. If you would like to hire the Air Hockey Table it will require a flat undercover area measuring 5’0″ x 11’5″ x 6’6″/1.5m x 3.5m x 2m. Due to the size and weight of the Air Hockey Table, it will need to be wheeled into place on a trolley so please contact us in advance of booking with any possible access problems such as stairs, steps, narrow doorways, gates, etc.

The Air Hockey is a two player game but can played solo if required.
Players must tall enough to reach the game table. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.
The Air Hockey is suitable for outdoor events in a sheltered area like a mini marquee.
The Air Hockey is suitable for Indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions. Please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated set up routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.
Yes, the Air Hockey requires a mains power supply.
Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game.
Depending on ease of access, the Air Hockey will take our staff approximately 30mins to set up.
Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.
Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.
We will tailor make each Air Hockey hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Air Hockey hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.
The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Air Hockey attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. Altitude Events are completely mobile.
