Bar Skittles is an all-time Pub Games all-time and can now be hired from Altitude Events alongside a wide range of other popular Pub Games – Pool Table, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, Foosball Table Football, Skittles/Bowling, Double Hoop Basketball and Connect 4.

Bar Skittles is also known as Table Skittles or Indoor Skittles.  Just like full alley skittles, each player has three attempts to knock down the skittles but in the space-saving tabletop version, the ball is swung around a pole toppling the skittles upon its return.  Table Skittles is a game of great skill for serious pub competition or just good old-fashioned fun for children and adults.  Our set has Mahogany skittles and a Lignum Vitae ball, with an easily adjustable plinth so the ball can be perfectly adjusted before play.  Each Table Skittles set is supplied with instructions and brass scoring pegs. The set that we hire is the only set approved for pub league competition play and is perfect for 2 – 4 players.

Bar Skittles hire and our Pub Games packages are perfect for Corporate Events, Evening Events, Parties, Family Fundays, Weddings and Christmas Parties.

Although based on the Surrey/Sussex border, Altitude Events Bar Skittles and Pub Games hire packages are available for hire throughout the Southeast to East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, London, Essex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.  Bar Skittles and Pub Games hire packages include £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

The Skittles can be set up on any reasonably sized table or desk and is 3’0″ x 2’3″ x 4’3″/0.9m x 0.7m x 1.3m in size.  Bar Skittles will require about 6’6″ x 6’6″ 6’6″/2m x 2m x 2m of space to play in.

Please note that we have a minimum hire fee of £400 + VAT so we usually only hire these games as part of packages rather than individually.

How many people can play the Bar Skittles?

The Bar Skittles is a two to four-player game.

Can anyone use the Bar Skittles?

Players must be tall enough to play. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.

Can the Bar Skittles be used outside?

The Bar Skittles is suitable for outdoor events in a sheltered area like a mini marquee.

Can the Bar Skittles be used indoors?

The Bar Skittles is suitable for Indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions.  Please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Does the Bar Skittles require a power supply?

No, the Bar Skittles does not require a mains power supply.

Do I need to supply anything or does the Bar Skittles come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game.

How long does the Bar Skittles take to set up?

Depending on the ease of access, the Bar Skittles will take our staff approximately 15mins to set up.

Safety

Does the Bar Skittles come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.

How safe is the Bar Skittles?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

How much does it cost to hire the Bar Skittles?

We will tailor-make each Bar Skittles hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Bar Skittles hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Bar Skittles attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.

Altitude Events are completely mobile.
