Batak Lite Reaction Test Game Hire and Rental

Description

The Batak Lite is an incredibly addictive game that tests people’s reactions. Altitude Events can provide the latest ‘compact’ model of Batak available which is called the Batak Lite. Batak Lite features 8 LED targets that are numbered and arranged in a narrow stretch type configuration on the Batak’s frame which are then controlled by a dedicated on-board computer. The targets may be lit up in either random or repetitive ways depending on which of the game modes you select. Batak Challenge is a light chaser type of game whereby you have to hit the button that lights up as fast as possible before the next button will then illuminate. This continues until you run out of time with successful hits being scored on a central display screen. Games can be set to last between 30 seconds and 5 minutes if you want a real work out! The Batak Lite reaction game is suitable for hire for both adults and children alike as using the various game modes we can easily turn off the highest rows of buttons for events with lots of children attending.

Altitude’s Batak rental service has been used extensively on Corporate Events, Team Building Days, Family Fundays and at Private Parties, Scout and Guide Camps. Batak Pro is also often used in Schools, Colleges and Universities as well as for sports training programmes. Batak hire is also used with great success on Roadshows and for Marketing, Publicity and Promotional events such as exhibitions or trade show stands where its addictive playability always brings the crowds in. The sleek polished chrome frame of the Batak Pro makes a very striking and impressive addition to any event, show or exhibition stand.

Altitude’s Batak Lite hire service is based on the Surrey/Sussex border but also operates throughout the Southeast (Kent, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire) and further afield.

The Batak Challenge can be operated both indoors or outside and runs from a normal mains plug. When operated outdoors we will provide our own 12V battery power supply for the Batak and a mini marquee to shelter the machine from the elements. As with all of Altitude’s hire equipment, the Batak Lite is fully PAT tested for electrical safety and comes with £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

About the Batak Lite

How many people can play Batak Lite?

Batak is a single player game.  If you are looking for a multiplayer Reaction Test Game please see Strike a Light and Chaos which allow more players at a time.

Can anyone use the Batak Lite?

Players must be able to reach the buttons to play.  We can turn the top 2 rows of buttons off to allow younger children to play but we would not suggest it’s a suitable activity for anyone under 6 or 7yrs of age.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.

Does Batak Lite have different game modes and options?

Batak Lite has a range of 31 different game modes and time settings ranging from 30 seconds up to 5mins.

What you need

Can the Batak Lite be used outside?

Yes it can but we will need to put it in a gazebo to protect it from the weather and also allow players to see the lights easier.  It may also need to run from a battery if it was outside.

Can the Batak Lite be used indoors?

The Batak Lite is suitable for Indoor events, however we do not advise putting it in very bright areas as it becomes hard to see the lights. It requires 2m x 2m of space with 2m headroom.  The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated set up routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Does the Batak require a power supply?

Yes, the Batak Lite requires one mains power socket or for outdoor events we can use a battery to power the game.

Do I need to supply anything or does the Batak Lite come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the scoreboard, cables and operator.

How long does the Batak Lite take to set up?

Depending on ease of access, the Batak Lite will take our staff approximately 30mins to set up.

Safety

Does the Batak Lite come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.

How safe is the Batak Lite?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

Prices/Options

How much does it cost to hire the Batak Lite?

We will tailor make each Batak Lite hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Batak Lite hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Batak Lite attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
