Bouncy Castle Hire and Rentals

Description

Due to popular demand from our current clients, Altitude now has a 15ft x 15ft Bouncy Castle available for hire on our events. The Castle comes with a cover fitted as standard which works well as a sunshade on warm summer days.

Our Castle will always be supplied with an operator (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained), £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

The Bouncy Castle has a maximum age of 10yrs and will require 11m x 9m of flat grass or indoor space to operate on with 4.5m height clearance. The blower for the Inflatable will require a mains power supply, although a generator can be hired at an additional cost if there is no mains power available to use. As with all of Altitude’s Inflatables, the Bouncy Castle has an annual safety test certificate and the electrical equipment is fully PAT tested for electrical safety.

The Bouncy Castle is great for a whole host of event uses including Corporate Events, Private Parties, Scout and Guide Camps, School Events, Council Events and just about anything else you can think of!

Please Note that the Bouncy Castle will only be available to hire by clients who are booking multiple activities for the same event and we do not hire any Inflatables unsupervised or on overnight rentals. Outdoor bookings only available between mid-April and mid-October inclusive.

How many people can play on the Bouncy Castle?

The Bouncy Castle can take up to 8 players per session.

Can anyone use the Bouncy Castle?

Players must be ten years of age or under.

Can the Bouncy Castle operate in bad weather?

The Bouncy Castle cannot be used in wet weather as the inflatable becomes too slippery to operate it safely. As with all Inflatables we need to stop operating if wind speed exceeds 24mph.

What you need

Can the Bouncy Castle be used outside?

Yes it can but it will need a relatively flat area of grass. As with all Inflatables it cannot be used on hard standing for H&S reasons as we cannot secure it to the ground properly. The Bouncy Castle requires an area of 9m x 11m with at least 4.5m headroom. The inflatable rolled up is 1.5m high and 1m round so suitable access is required for that from where we can unload the van.  We only operate Inflatables outside between April and the middle of October as ground and weather conditions are not usually suitable for them over the Winter months.

Can the Bouncy Castle be used indoors?

The Bouncy Castle is suitable for Indoor events and requires 9m x 11m of space with 4.5m headroom.  Suitable access is required as the inflatable rolled up is 1.5m high so any doorways or corridors must allow for this and we need to know in advance if there are any steps in our set up route.

Does the Bouncy Castle require a power supply?

Yes, the inflatable requires one mains power socket within 50m of the set up area. Please note that our extension cables cannot run across roadways, paths or busy open public areas where they will become a trip hazard. For outdoor events where a power supply is unavailable, Altitude Events can supply a generator on prior request (this is subject to a small additional cost).

Do I need to supply anything or does the Bouncy Castle come with everything it needs?

Other than a patch of ground to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the inflatables, ancillary equipment, bunting and operator.

How long does the Boucny Castle take to set up?

Depending on ease of access, the Inflatables will take our staff approximately between an hour and an hour and a half to set up.

Safety

Does the Bouncy Castle come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the Inflatable throughout your event. You are responsible for your child on the Bouncy Castle at all times.

How safe is the Bouncy Castle?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). The Inflatable has an annual safety certificate and all electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

How much does it cost to hire the Bouncy Castle?

We will tailor make each Bouncy Castle hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Inflatable hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and f you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Bouncy Castle attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
