Altitude Events now provide 2 types of Dance Mat Hire to events. We have a BRAND NEW Arcade machine style version which includes modern songs (plus some older classics!) and videos along with a special Christmas song section too!
Plus we also have commercial grade and finished in polished stainless steel which looks awesome and come complete with 47″ screens, external amp/speakers and attractive purpose-built stands with no straggly cables etc, these are professionally specified units with 5′ high mounted screens for the optimum game playing experience.
We have a wide range of games and songs to play on the Dance Mats so we can find something from everyone’s era and for everyone’s ability level. Our Dance Mat hire packages all include a member of staff to operate and oversee them on the rental as well as everything else that is needed to run a Dance Mat event including £10 million PLI and risk assessments.
Dance Mats are the perfect activity to hire for any Evening or Indoor event and they can be played by adults or children alike. Not only do the Dance Mats provide great fun for the players using them but they are also a very good activity for spectators and they are proving to be a very popular hire activity. Our Dance Mats often attend Corporate Events, Christmas Parties, Charity Dinners, Evening Events, Weddings, Themed Events, Schools and Colleges.
Altitude Events Dance Mat Hire service is available for events throughout the Southeast from its base on the Surrey/Sussex border and regularly attends events and venues in East Sussex, West Sussex, London, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Essex, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and further afield.
Dance Mat hire will require a mains power supply and around 13’2″ x 16’5″ x 9’9″/4m x 5m x 3m of undercover space. All electrical equipment is PAT tested. There are no specific age restrictions to play the Dance Mats unless the games being played have any age ratings.

The Dance Mats are a one or two-player game.
Yes, pretty much! But we would’nt usually recommend them for young children. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.
No, they can’t.
The Dance Mats are suitable for indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions. The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.
Yes, the Dance Mats require one mains power socket.
Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including screen, speakers, console, cables and operator.
Depending on the ease of access, the Dance Mats will take our staff approximately 30 minutes to set up.
Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you.
Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.
We will tailor-make each Dance Mats hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Dance Mats hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.
The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Dance Mats attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
