Our Dance Mats are an Arcade machine style version.  The Dance Machine includes both modern songs plus some older classics along with a special Christmas song section too!

We have a wide range of games and songs to play so we can find something from everyone’s era and for everyone’s ability level.  All songs have 4 different difficulty levels available if you really want to test your foot work and co-ordination!   Our Dance Mat hire packages all include a member of staff to operate and oversee them on the rental as well as everything else that is needed to run a Dance Mat event including £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

Dance Mats are the perfect activity to hire for any Evening or Indoor event.  They can be played by adults or children alike.  Not only do the Dance Mats provide great fun for the players using them but they are also a very good activity for spectators too.  Our Dance Mats often attend Corporate Events, Charity Dinners, Evening Events, Weddings, Themed Events, School Proms and Colleges/University Freshers Events.  With the Christmas songs section Dance Mats are also perfect for Christmas Parties and Christmas Events.

What areas do you cover and what do Dance Mats require?

The Dance Machine will require a normal mains power supply. They require around 13’2″ x 16’5″ x 8’2″/4m x 5m x 2.5m of undercover space with flat/dry/clean floor.  All electrical equipment is PAT tested.  There are no specific age restrictions to play the Dance Machine but we do not suggest it for very young children.

How many people can play the Dance Mats?

The Dance Mats are a one or two-player game.

Can anyone use the Dance Mats?

Yes, pretty much!  But we would’nt usually recommend them for young children.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away.

Can the Dance Mats be used outside?

No, they can’t.

Can the Dance Mats be used indoors?

The Dance Mats are suitable for indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions.  The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Do the Dance Mats require a power supply?

Yes, the Dance Mats require one mains power socket.

Do I need to supply anything or do the Dance Mats come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including screen, speakers, console, cables and operator.

How long do the Dance Mats take to set up?

Depending on the ease of access, the Dance Mats will take our staff approximately 30 minutes to set up.

Safety

Do the Dance Mats come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you.

How safe are the Dance Mats?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member. We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

Prices/Options

How much does it cost to hire the Dance Mats?

We will tailor-make each Dance Mats hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Dance Mats hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Dance Mats attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.

Altitude Events are completely mobile.
