Altitude Events are based on the Surrey/Sussex border but our Giant Buzz Wires are available for hire to venues and events throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London. Altitude Events have 3 versions and 2 sizes of Buzzwires available to hire – 2 large free-standing ones known as Beat the Bleep and a smaller tabletop or desktop version.
The larger Freestanding Giant Buzz Wire stands at 4ft at its highest point and it’s nearly 10ft long making it one of the Biggest Buzz Wires around to hire! Players must try and get the wand from one end of the metal frame to the other without the dreaded buzzer going off! How steady are your hands… Giant Buzzwire hire is perfect for Corporate Events, Team Builds, Exhibition Stands, School Fetes, Evening Events and Private Parties alike, there are just so many possible uses for this traditional and popular game.
Giant Buzzwires have no age limits either, provided the children are tall enough to hold the wand and reach the tops of the metal frame then they can give it a try. All of our Freestanding Giant Buzzwires are battery powered so they can be used anywhere – indoors or outside (though they must be set up undercover if it’s raining). The Freestanding Giant Buzzwire has a range of 4 different wand sizes to allow the difficulty level to be changed very easily.
All Giant Buzzwire hire packages include £10 million PLI and risk assessments.
Please note that we have a minimum hire fee of £400 + VAT so we usually only hire these games as part of packages rather than individually.

Players must be tall enough to play. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.
Yes, it can be providing it is under a gazebo to protect it from the weather.
The Free-Standing Buzzwire is suitable for Indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions. The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the scoreboard, cables and operator.
Depending on the ease of access, the Free-Standing Buzzwire will take our staff approximately 15mins to set up.
Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.
Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.
We will tailor-make each Free-Standing Buzzwire hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Free-Standing Buzzwire hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.
The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Free-Standing Buzzwire attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
