Giant Operation and Saw Bones Game Hire and Rental

Description

Altitude Events now have a fantastic life-size version of the popular children’s electronic game “Operation”.  The Giant Operation Game is also known as Saw Bones and is fantastic fun for all ages of players.  Giant Operation has an “operating table” which is 6’0″ x 3’3″ x 3’7″/1.8m x 1m x 1.1m in size and comes self-contained on its own purpose-built stand.  The object of Giant Operation is to try and remove all 10 of the body pieces with your tweezers within 60 seconds without touching the sides and losing any/all of your 3 lives.  Steady hands are required as when lives are lost the game will give you warnings and funny comments!

Our Giant Operation and Saw Bones hire packages include an operator, £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

Our Operation game is the perfect hire activity for Evening Events, Themed Parties, Christmas Parties, Exhibitions, Trade Show Stands, Medical Balls, Halloween Events and Charity Events.  The operator can be dressed in a doctor’s outfit if required -the perfect accompaniment for Doctors and Nurses or 999 services themed events.

Altitude Events Giant Operation hire is available to events and venues in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London as well as further afield.

The Giant Operation game set up requires an undercover flat area of 9’9″ x 9’9″ x 6’6″/3m x 3m x 2m to set up in.  There are no specific age limits to play but all players must be able to reach all parts of the game which is usually around 4.5ft and above.  Giant Operation will require a mains power supply to be provided and all electrical equipment is PAT tested.  Saw Bones can operate outside in a mini marquee with a battery pack if needed.

About the Giant Operation

How many people can play Giant Operation?

Giant Operation is a one-player game.

Can anyone use the Giant Operation?

Players must be able to reach all the items to play without leaning on the game table.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.

What you need

Can the Giant Operation be used outside?

Yes, it can but we will need to put it in a gazebo to protect it from the weather.

Can the Giant Operation be used indoors?

The Giant Operation is suitable for Indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions.  The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Does the Giant Operation require a power supply?

Yes, the Giant Operation requires one mains power socket.

Do I need to supply anything or does the Giant Operation come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the scoreboard, cables and operator.

How long does the Giant Operation take to set up?

Depending on the ease of access, the Giant Operation will take our staff approximately 15mins to set up.

Safety

Does the Giant Operation come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.

How safe is the Giant Operation?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

Prices/Options

How much does it cost to hire Giant Operation?

We will tailor-make each Giant Operation hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Giant Operation hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Giant Operation attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.

Reviews/testimonials

Thank you so much, I’m glad that you enjoyed working with us as much as we enjoyed working with you. The event was a great success and the client very happy, she is already talking about next year! Of course our suppliers are a huge part of making an event a success or otherwise so thank you very much for your and your colleagues hard work. It was a pleasure to work with you both.

Francesca, Corporate Event Company

Thank you to the guys for yesterday. They were great, really helpful to me as I knew they would get on and do their bit (so to speak) well.

I look forward to hopefully seeing your team back at the ground for events soon.

James Webster, Corporate Event Company

Your team on the 19th were absolutely fantastic. They were there and set up all on time and gave our guests THE most fun-packed, fantastic day. They were all so professional and friendly and hope they enjoyed watching everyone get very competitive! (Especially me on the operation game!) And poor Dale didn’t get one minutes peace on the archery (very impressed with all the health and safety too by the way).  Can’t thank you and them enough for all the effort and for helping make our wedding weekend beyond perfect.  I have passed your details on to a friend who runs events so hopefully you’ll get some business through him too.  Can you kindly pass our huge, heartfelt thanks on to your guys.

Lou Saint, Wedding Entertainment

Thank you so much for your help in making last Saturday night such a huge success. While I did not get to meet Mark in person I heard great things about the Giant Operation Game and the crowds that were surrounding it.

Lena Vin Heimedhal, University Event, London

I just wanted to say a big thank you again for all of your help with our event last Thursday. It was a huge success and we had some very happy clients as result.

Lauren, Marketing Agency, London

Thanks so much for all your help, it’s an absolute pleasure to deal with you! I submitted about 5 enquiries back in December, only 1 other company got back to me and that was after 2 weeks – so just so you know, no one has come close to your standards!!

Amy Francis, Staff BBQ, West London

Also, a big thank you to the guys on Sunday, the feedback was faultless.

Charlie, Corporate Event Organiser, Hertfordshire

Thank you so much to you and your team for all your work yesterday. Tim and I were really pleased with the games and the extras you put in and not only did everyone engage in the tasks they really enjoyed all of them as well as the shooting and driving. I think I might have developed a taste for arcade shooting games! I really look forward to seeing the photos and working with you again. Should you need a reference just ask!

Fiona Monson, Corporate Away Day, East Sussex

Just a quick email to say thank you for the event on Friday. The guys were great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Very much appreciated
