Can you get a strike or the perfect game with our 2 player Inflatable Skittles alley?! With full-size pins and an inflatable surround, this activity brings fun for all the family. Whether played competitively or just for laughs, Inflatable 10 pin Bowling is always an activity everyone can enjoy as there are no age restrictions to play on the Inflatable Skittle alley.

Although based on the Surrey/Sussex border, the Inflatable Skittle / Bowling Alley is for hire throughout the Southeast to Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex, London, Essex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Inflatable 10 pin Bowling is a great hire activity for Schools, Scout and Guide Camps, Fetes, Corporate Events, Parties and just about another event you can think of!

The Inflatable Skittle / Bowling Alley blowers will plug into a normal mains plug socket but where one is not available we can run the Inflatable from one of our generators (for an additional charge). As with all of our hire equipment, the electrical items are fully PAT tested. If you would like to hire the Skittle / Bowling Alley it will require a flat area (grass or indoor space) of 14m x 5.5m. Due to the size and weight of the inflatable (rolled up it’s about 1m round), please contact us with any possible access problems such as stairs, narrow doorways, gates, etc.

The Skittles Alley includes £10 million PLI and all risk assessments.

Please note that we have a minimum hire fee of £400 + VAT so we usually only hire these games as part of packages rather than individually. We do not offer this activity for overnight rentals.

About the Skittles

How many people can play on the Skittles?

The Skittles can take one player per lane.

Can anyone use the Skittles?

There are no age restrictions for players.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.

Can the Skittles operate in bad weather?

The Skittles can be used in wet weather with caution. The matting can become too slippery to operate it safely. As with all Inflatables we need to stop operating if wind speed exceeds 24mph.

What you need

Can the Skittles be used outside?

Yes it can but it will need a relatively flat area of grass. As with all Inflatables it cannot be used on hard standing for H&S reasons as we cannot secure it to the ground properly. The Skittles requires an area of 5.5m x 14m with at least 2m headroom. The inflatable rolled up is 1.5m high and 1m round so suitable access is required for that from where we can unload the van.  We only operate Inflatables outside between April and the middle of October as ground and weather conditions are not usually suitable for them over the Winter months.

Can the Skittles be used indoors?

The Skittles is suitable for Indoor events and requires 5.5m x 14m of space with 2m headroom.  Suitable access is required as the inflatable rolled up is 1.5m high so any doorways or corridors must allow for this and we need to know in advance if there are any steps in our set up route.

Does the Skittles require a power supply?

Yes, the inflatable requires one mains power socket within 50m of the set up area. Please note that our extension cables cannot run across roadways, paths or busy open public areas where they will become a trip hazard. For outdoor events where a power supply is unavailable, Altitude Events can supply a generator on prior request (this is subject to a small additional cost).

Do I need to supply anything or does the Skittles come with everything it needs?

Other than a patch of ground to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the inflatable, skittles, ancillary equipment, bunting and operator.

How long does the Skittles take to set up?

Depending on ease of access, the Inflatables will take our staff approximately between an hour and an hour and a half to set up.

Safety

Does the Skittles come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the Inflatable throughout your event.

How safe is the Skittles?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). The Inflatable has an annual safety certificate and all electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

How much does it cost to hire the Skittles?

We will tailor make each Skittles hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Inflatable hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and f you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Skittles attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
