About our It’s A Knockout

How many people can take part in an It’s A Knockout Event?

We usually have teams of up to 10 people per team and we can happily run It’s A Knockout Events for between 2 and 12 teams.

Can anyone take part in an It’s A Knockout Event?

These type of events are definitely more physical than some other activities we offer but we could look at adapting standard packages if you were worried about the participant’s fitness levels.  We generally run It’s A Knockouts for adult groups although we could tailor one for children over 10yrs old if needed.  For safety reasons we cannot run mixed It’s A Knockout Events for adults and children I am afraid.

Can an It’s A Knockout Event operate in bad weather?

Some Inflatables cannot be used in wet weather as the inflatable becomes too slippery to operate it safely.  In which case we may need to adapt the game selection slightly to allow us to carry on running the event.  As with all Inflatables we need to stop operating if wind speed exceeds 24mph.

What space do you need to run an It’s A Knockout?

Inflatables cannot be used outside on hard standing for H&S reasons as we cannot secure them to the ground properly. We would, therefore, need a large area of flat grass to set up on with direct vehicle access for the vans.  We could look at running a version indoors if you had a large space such as a warehouse, exhibition hall or maybe a large Sports Centre.

When do you run It’s A Knockout Events?

We only operate It’s A Knockout Events outside between April and the middle of October as the ground and weather conditions are not usually suitable for them over the winter months.

Do the activities require a power supply?

Yes, the inflatables will require mains power sockets within 50m of the setup area. Please note that our extension cables cannot run across roadways, paths or busy open public areas where they will become a trip hazard. For outdoor events where a power supply is unavailable, Altitude Events can supply generators on prior request (this is subject to a small additional cost).

Do I need to supply anything or does your It’s A Knockout package come with everything it needs?

Other than a venue to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the inflatables, ancillary equipment, bunting and operators.  We would suggest you got a supply of water/soft drinks for your participants and we also recommend a medic is booked to be on standby for these style of physical events.

How long does an It’s A Knockout take to set up?

Depending on the ease of access, the event will take our staff between 2 and 3 hours to set up.


Do the games come with staff to run the activities?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the games throughout your event. They will give all players a detailed briefing of how the zone works and run/score the games for you.

How safe is the It’s A Knockout?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff members (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments. All our Inflatables have an annual safety test carried out and all electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.


How much does it cost to hire an It’s A Knockout?

We will tailor-make each It’s A Knockout quote to the specifics of an enquiry dependent on factors such as your venue address, date of hire, number of participants, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our It’s A Knockout Events are held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.

Altitude Events are completely mobile.
