Rage Off Road Buggy Hire and Rental

Description

The RAGE off-road buggy is a top of the range single seat buggy with an excellent chassis combined with long-travel suspension making it the perfect driving experience and great for the adrenaline seekers in the group!  Rage Buggies are controlled by a standard steering wheel and pedal layout as you would find on a road car meaning they are very easy to get to grips with.  They have an automatic gearbox so there is no need to worry about changing gears.

As with all of our other Motorised Activities, our Rage off-road buggy hire packages include clean modern helmets for all drivers, fully trained instructors, a mini marquee, bunting, chairs and everything else needed to form a track. As with all of our activities, our Rage off-road buggies are run under our £10 million PLI policy with full risk assessments available.

For safety reasons, as with all of our Motorised Activities, we do not allow side by side racing during our Rage Buggy rentals. The minimum driving age to take part on the Rage Buggies is 18yrs (or 17yrs with a driving licence).

Based out of our base on the Surrey/Sussex border, our Rage off-road buggies are available for hire to events and venues throughout the Southeast (East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire) and further afield. Our Rage Off-Road Buggies are the perfect Motorised Activity for Corporate Events such as Multi-Activity Days, Company Away Days, Team Building Events and for Company Family Fundays.

If you wanted to hire the Rage off-road buggies for your event or venue, we would require a large open area of flat grass (which must be cut short) without obstructions.

About the RAGE Buggies

How easy are RAGE Buggies to use?

Our instructors will firstly give a short safety briefing to every driver.  Most people pick the RAGE Buggies up very quickly and are soon confident on them within 5 minutes.  A lot will depend on how quickly you get used to the steering and get your confidence up.

How fast do RAGE Buggies go?

The RAGE Buggies are fast(!) but we will often set the courses up to concentrate more on manoeuvring rather than just going fast as anyone can go fast in a straight line!

Can anyone drive a RAGE Buggy?

RAGE Buggies have a minimum driver age of 17 years (with a driving license).  No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs is allowed to use the RAGE Buggies. If anyone has any health problems or current injuries including pregnancy or bad backs then they should not take part in the RAGE Buggy sessions.

What sort of events have the RAGE Buggies been used for?

RAGE Buggies have proved to be a hit on Corporate Team Building Days, Family Fun Days, Staff Reward Days, Multi Activity Away Days, Private Parties, Stag/Hen Activity Days, TV shows, etc.

What do Altitude Events provide?

Our Kit

All of our drivers and passengers are kitted out with top quality open face safety helmets and the RAGE Buggies are kept clean and presentable.  There is no Altitude branding on the buggies so they are perfect for use on Corporate Events.  RAGE Buggy hires also come with a mini marquee, bunting, courses, chairs and everything else required to operate on an event.

Experienced instructor

During every session we run there will be an experienced instructor on hand to offer advice and guidance to all drivers on how to handle the RAGE Buggies.

Tailor made sessions

Session content varies according to a whole host of variables (size of group, age of group, reason for booking, duration of booking, etc) and can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Sessions can be run to focus on team development and communication or just as a fun blast around a field in something a bit different! So, give us a call and we can come up with a plan that meets all your aims and expectations.

We have venues across the Southeast and further afield that we can use RAGE Buggies at so please contact us for details of these if you do not already have a suitable venue in mind.

What you need

What should I wear?

Whatever you want although dresses and skirts are not advisable!  We would suggest old clothes as you may get dusty in the Summer or muddy in the Winter.

How much space do I require to operate the RAGE Buggies?

We will operate accordingly to the space on offer but we would like an open area of flattish grass at least 4 acres, but the more space you can provide the better!  This space must be free from obstacles such as ditches, trees, poles, etc and with short cut grass.

Safety

How safe is it?

RAGE Buggy sessions are run by fully trained, 1st aid qualified and experienced instructors. RAGE Buggy hire packages include the mandatory use of helmets and seatbelts which are worn by all drivers.  We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments.

Does the weather affect the RAGE Buggies?

The RAGE Buggies are fully waterproof and can be used all year round.  However, should it be very wet, prepare for your field (and your guests!) to get a little muddy!

Prices/Options

How much do RAGE Buggies cost to hire?

We will quote according to your requirements as every event is so different, please contact us for a competitive quote.  Location, running time and type of useage will all affect the final quote.

Do we have to pay anything else?

Everything will be included in our quote – RAGE Buggy hire, petrol, delivery, staffing, safety kit hire and insurance.  There will be no hidden extras.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event.

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this.  Primarily our RAGE Buggies attend events in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
