Our Reverse Steer Driving Jeep has a steering column that can change back to normal within 30 seconds to allow the same 4×4 to be used for Blindfold Driving as well. Therefore you can hire just the 1 vehicle, but use it for 2 different activities which are perfect for lower budget events or those events with only small numbers of participants attending.
Our Reverse Steer 4×4 hire packages include a fully trained instructor, mini marquee and chairs for the waiting area, bunting, a course, £10 million PLI and risk assessments.
Reverse Steer 4×4 Driving is a great activity for Corporate Events such as Company Away Days, Multi Activity Days and Team Building. It is also a very funny activity for Stag and Hen Events. Although Altitude Events is based on the Surrey/Sussex border, we regularly supply Blindfold 4×4 Driving and Reverse Steer Driving throughout the Southeast to venues and events in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Essex, Berkshire, London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Our instructors will firstly give a short safety briefing to every driver. A lot will depend on how quickly you get used to the steering and get your confidence up. It also depends on how much you laugh!
Reverse Steer 4×4 have a minimum driver age of 17 years (with a driving license). No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs is allowed to use the Reverse Steer 4×4. If anyone has any health problems or current injuries including pregnancy or bad backs then they should not take part in the Reverse Steer 4×4 sessions.
Reverse Steer 4×4 have proved to be a hit on Corporate Team Building Days, Family Fun Days, Staff Reward Days, Multi Activity Away Days, Private Parties, Stag/Hen Activity Days, TV shows, etc.
The Reverse Steer 4×4 is kept clean and presentable. There is no Altitude branding on the vehicle so they are perfect for use on Corporate Events. Reverse Steer 4×4 hires also come with a mini marquee, bunting, courses, chairs and everything else required to operate on an event.
During every session we run there will be an experienced instructor on hand to offer advice and guidance to all drivers on how to handle the Reverse Steer 4×4.
Session content varies according to a whole host of variables (size of group, age of group, reason for booking, duration of booking, etc) and can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Sessions can be run to focus on team development and communication or just as a fun blast around a field in something a bit different! We have venues across the Southeast and further afield that we can use the Reverse Steer 4×4 at so please contact us for details of these if you do not already have a suitable venue in mind.
Whatever you want as you are inside the vehicle. Proper shoes/trainers must be worn (no flip-flops or high heels).
We will operate accordingly to the space on offer but we would like an open area of flattish grass at least 50m x 25m, but the more space you can provide the better! This space must be free from obstacles such as ditches, trees, poles, etc and with short cut grass.
Reverse Steer 4×4 sessions are run by fully trained, 1st aid qualified and experienced instructors. We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments.
The Reverse Steer 4×4 can be used all year round. However, should it be very wet, prepare for your field to get a little muddy!

Everything will be included in our quote – Reverse Steer 4×4, petrol, delivery, staffing, safety kit hire and insurance. There will be no hidden extras.

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Reverse Steer 4×4 attend events in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
