Our School Teambuilding days can be run from a wide range of session plans and activity choices. With our wide range of Initiative and Team Challenges, we have something for everyone and every budget including physical tasks, mental puzzles, communication-based, creative tasks and many more. School Team Building Days are suitable for both primary and secondary schools and we also work with colleges. Additionally, we offer Team Building sessions for teaching staff on inset days.
Altitude Events are a completely mobile activity hire company so we bring all of the Team Building sessions and activities directly to your school or college. Although based on the Surrey/Sussex border, Altitude Events provide School Team Building Activity Days throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
Altitude’s Team Building Activities can fill whole days or shorter periods if necessary, they can be held indoors or outside, tailored to be competitive or just about having fun, the choice is completely yours! We usually have teams of 6 – 10 people per team and we can happily run School Team Building Events for up to 120 children.
We generally work with secondary school children on School Team Building Events but we can also work with the years 4, 5 and 6 at primary age as well.
Yes provided the children have dressed appropriately for the weather then we will carry on as long as it is safe to do so. If ground conditions become too slippery we may need to make some adjustments to the sessions we run.
We generally require a large area of flat grass to set up on with direct vehicle access for the vans. We could look at running a version indoors if you had a large space such as a hall or maybe a large Sports Centre or we could fit some smaller games into smaller indoor space as well. Some Team Building sessions will be able to run on hard standing but it will reduce the session choice slightly.
We run Team Building sessions throughout the year however during the Winter months the activity selection may be reduced due to the weather and ground conditions.
Most of our traditional Team Building Events do not require a power supply but a few of the Inflatable ones will need power. For outdoor events where a power supply is unavailable, Altitude Events can supply generators on prior request (this is subject to a small additional cost).
Other than a venue to set up on, we supply everything required to run the games.
Depending on the ease of access, the event will take our staff between 1 and 3 hours to set up. We usually suggest 1 to 2.5hrs as a good event length to give some variety but every event is different so please contact us and we will try and put together a package to suit your needs.
Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the games throughout your event. They will give all players a detailed briefing of how the zone works and run/score the games for you.
Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff members (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments. All our Inflatables have an annual safety test carried out and all electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.
We will tailor-make each School Team Building quote to the specifics of an enquiry dependent on factors such as your venue address, date of hire, number of participants, etc.
The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our School Team Building Events are held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
