Description

Tap The App is a cross between the traditional Giant Operation steady hand game with a Mobile Phone to give the game a new theme! It’s the perfect game for testing hand-eye coordination! The player’s wand is actually an electromagnet and that is used to remove the metal shapes from the game. When the wand touches a metal game piece, it automatically sticks onto the wand and magnetizes. While carefully removing the piece, should contact be made with the cutout, the magnet automatically turns off and the piece drops. An audible beep is triggered along with a visual light, and the unit records the mistake on a large 3 inch LED display. Players can take on Tap The App in Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty levels by easily changing the size of the game pieces.

Tap The App is THE perfect activity for Christmas Parties, Evening Events, Black Tie Dinners, Private Parties, School Fetes and just about anything else in between as well.  Not only is Tap The App a great game to play but it’s also a very entertaining game to watch meaning that it will also be a fantastic hire activity for Exhibition Stands at Trade Shows and Promotional Events.  No one will walk past without wanting to stop at your stand and give it a go!

Altitude Events are based in East Sussex and hire Tap The App Games throughout West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.  All Tap The App hire packages include a member of staff (CRB/DBS checked), £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

Tap the App is built on its own stand and requires about 2m x 2m to operate in.  Tap The App Game Hire is suitable for both adults and children (as long as they are tall enough to reach the game they can play).  Tap The App runs from a mains power supply and can be played both inside or outside (under cover of a mini marquee).  We can also use a battery if its an outdoor event with no mains power.  All electrical equipment is PAT tested.

How many people can play Tap The App?

Tap The App is a one player game.

Can anyone use Tap The App?

Players must be able to reach all the items to play without leaning on the game table.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused on.

What you need

Can Tap The App be used outside?

Yes it can but we will need to put it in a gazebo to protect it from the weather.

Can Tap The App be used indoors?

Tap The App is suitable for Indoor events. It requires 3m x 3m of space with 2m headroom.  The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated set up routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Does Tap The App require a power supply?

Yes, Tap The App requires one mains power socket.

Do I need to supply anything or does Tap The App come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the scoreboard, cables and operator.

How long does Tap The App take to set up?

Depending on ease of access, the Tap The App will take our staff approximately 15mins to set up.

Safety

Does Tap The App come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.

How safe is Tap The App?

Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

Prices/Options

How much does it cost to hire Tap The App?

We will tailor make each Tap The App hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. Tap The App hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Tap The App attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
