The Coronavirus pandemic has hit the entire outdoor education industry very hard as overnight school residential trips are not currently allowed. Many boarding schools are also now having to cater for many more boarders staying on the school site over weekends and even during half terms if they are international students.
Therefore we have been thinking long and hard about what we can do to fill these gaps in the school calendar so that the children still get to experience exciting new activities. Altitude Events is a totally mobile events company so we can bring the activities direct to your school site and set up on your playing fields, playgrounds and in sports halls.
Whilst we cannot operate all of our activities safely in current times, there are still many activities that can now be offered to School Events in a COVID Safe way. The activities that we can run will depend on the age ranges, the number of attendees, time of year and also how the school is operating with bubbles/social distancing/cleaning equipment, etc. Recently we have been offering activities such as Axe and Knife Throwing, the Mobile Climbing Wall, 9 hole Crazy Golf Courses, Team Building, Combat Archery and Laser Tag to both primary and secondary schools around the Southeast.
We will always follow the latest government rules on what is and is not allowed but with social distancing, cleaning and PPE it has allowed us to open up around a third of our activities meaning we can get back to doing what we love!
So if you have to find a replacement for a cancelled external trip or have some boarders to entertain then please get in touch and we will see what options would be suitable. Altitude Events is based on the Surrey/Sussex border and also covers Schools, Colleges and Universities in Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
