Altitude Events is based on the Surrey/Sussex border and offers Mobile Activity Hire throughout the Southeast. The Walking Tubes are available to events in Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Berkshire, Hampshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London.
Due to the size of the Inflatables they are only suitable for adult use.
Please note that we have a minimum hire fee starting at £400 + VAT. We usually only hire these smaller games as part of packages rather than individually.

Each Walking Tube can take up to four players per run, and are best used as a relay race!
Players must be of adult age due to the size of the tubes. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away.
The Walking Tubes can be used in wet weather provided it does’nt get too slippery to operate safely.
Yes, they can but will need a relatively flat area of grass. They cannot be used on hard standing for H&S reasons and as it would damage the tubes. The Walking Tubes require an area of 10m x 20m. The inflatable rolled up is 1m high and 1m round so suitable access is required for that from where we can unload the van. We only operate Inflatables outside between April and the end of September as the ground and weather conditions are not usually suitable for them over the Winter months.
Yes. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions. Suitable access is required as the inflatable rolled up is 1m high so any doorways or corridors must allow for this and we need to know in advance if there are any steps in our set up route.
Yes, the inflatables requires one mains power socket within 50m of the set up area. Please note that our extension cables cannot run across roadways, paths or busy open public areas where they will become a trip hazard. For outdoor events where a power supply is unavailable, Altitude Events can supply a generator on prior request (this is subject to a small additional cost).
Other than a patch of ground to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including the inflatables, ancillary equipment, bunting and operator.
Depending on the ease of access, the Inflatables will take our staff approximately 30mins to set up.
Yes, our staff (CRB/DBS checked and 1st aid trained) will remain with them throughout your event. They will give all players a detailed briefing of how the race works and run each race for you.
Sessions are run by fully trained, experienced staff member (staff are first aid trained and CRB/DBS checked). We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request).
We will tailor-make each Walking Tubes hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Inflatable hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event.
The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Walking Tubes attend events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
Altitude Events are completely mobile.
